Monitoring Management Information System
Want to monitor and manage your energy usage?
An Energy Management Information System (EMIS) is a performance management system that lets your business keep track of its energy usage and improve its energy efficiency. We will arrange for the installation of special equipment to monitor and analyze energy performance that can then be used to make decisions and take action to save your business energy and money.
Currently, we are working with two companies as a pilot to help us refine the process before offering it to all businesses.
If your business would like to take part, we will arrange for an EMIS Audit to better understand your business and determine how to incorporate EMIS into your workplace. We’ll then complete an Implementation Plan that will include a cost estimate, design and schedule.
Finally, we’ll install and offer training on all equipment, as well as provide ongoing technical support.
Your organization will be divided into Energy Account Centers (EACs) to better target and monitor your energy performance of each area.
Each EAC will focus on a level or department of your organization and be accountable to one person, allowing your organization to better manage resource usage.
Once EACs have been identified, data and reporting systems will be assessed. Recommendations will be made to ensure that information is stored and analyzed properly and energy performance reporting is accurate.
