Cloud Infrastructure and services
As part of our efforts to empower the next generation, 20+ faculties from the various partner institutions attended a weekly long Train the Trainer program (2 December to 6 December 2013) on Cloud Infrastructure and Services (CIS) at EMC India Center of Excellence in Bangalore.
The participants were from the following institutions :
- PESITM, Shimoga
- CMR Institute of Technology, Bangalore
- NRI Institute of Technology, Vijayawada
- St.Peters Engineering College - Hyderabad
- Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bangalore
- VIT University, Chennai Campus
- Reva Institute of Technology and Management, Bangalore
- East Point college of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore
- Global Academy of Technology, Bangalore
- Dr.Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology, Pollachi
The participants also had an opportunity to meet, Chandrasekar Krishnamurthy (Chandra), Vice President – Global Services EMC India Coe and know more about EMC's commitment in empowering the next generation professionals. Chandra also emphasized on the role played by academicians in helping industry, while it makes the shift to the 3rd platform era. He also encouraged academia to stay connected via social media and take benefit of some of the #EMCIndiaCOE initiatives like - student visits, tech talk series, technology days and many others coming in 2014.
