Dan Bollman

Assistant Vice President for Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Facilities

Dan Bollman, a registered professional engineer with decades of experience in design- and construction-related activities, is the assistant vice president for Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Facilities. His most recent previous position was director of Engineering and Architectural Services, where he was responsible for all estimating, design and construction activities on campus related to construction of new facilities, renovations, maintenance and repair, infrastructure and landscape. The annual construction volume for projects on campus ranges from $100 million to $150 million.

After graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Bollman spent five years managing the construction of major projects with the United States Naval Civil Engineer Corps. He then returned to MSU to work in various capacities within Engineering and Architectural Services before becoming director.

Bollman holds a master’s degree in resource development, is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Educational Facilities Professional. He is active in the Construction Owners Association of America, Association of Physical Plant Administrators and the National Society of Professional Engineers.


Ron FlinnRon Flinn

Senior Advisor to the Vice President for Strategic Infrastructure Planning and Facilities

Ron Flinn has been employed by MSU since 1957, when he started as an engineering student employee. He has been involved in the design and construction of nearly 75 percent of the campus buildings and infrastructure. Flinn has held many positions, including: vice president, assistant vice president, university engineer, interim director of Building Services, associate director, plant engineer and associate engineer.

PhotoFlinn's notable accomplishments include publications, professional organizations and awards. Some of his publications include "The Buildings and Grounds Committee for the Association of Governing boards of Universities and Colleges" and "Walk-through Steam Tunnels at Michigan State University, " which was also presented to two international organizations. His positions in professional organizations have included international president of APPA/The Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers, from 1996-97; president of Midwest APPA in 1992; and president of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers from 1989-90. He has served as a consultant to the University of Maryland and Ohio State University; taught "Public Relations and Communications for Physical Plant" for more than five years at the APPA Institute for Facilities Management; and served on numerous university committees and initiatives, such as the 2020 Master Plan. Flinn played a large role in the development of the University Club at MSU, of which he is a charter member, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary International.

Flinn has an associate degree in construction technology from Erie County Technical Institute, a bachelor of science in civil engineering from Michigan State University, and a degree in business management from LaSalle Extension University. He is also licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Michigan.

I'm facing problem regarding my preinstalled facebook app on my blackberry bold 9900. When ever i try to connect it with the internet it says that my service plan does not support this facility and i should connect my handset with wifi, which is already connected to wifi.

have you got the blackberry data plan added you need that for bbm facebook etc. try a hard reboot, remove battery with phone on, wait a few seconds then replace.
