Sherra Aguirre, Founder and CEO
Sherra founded Aztec in 1981 and has led the company in building a Fortune 500 client list, by creating a company culture based on innovation, customer focus and service excellence. Sherra is a former two-term board member of the Building Service Contractor's Association International and a speaker at industry and business forums.
Ernie Jaffarian, President and COO
Prior to joining Aztec in 2008, Ernie worked for some of the largest facilities management services companies in the world, gathering experience in healthcare, industrial, military and educational environments in the U.S. and abroad. With more than 30 years of experience in effecting positive change in such areas as operations, sales and support, he brings a passion for industry innovation and the use of technology to drive results.
Rick Silverman, Executive Vice President and CFO
Rick is a CPA with several years' auditing experience in the "Big Four" environment. Since taking the role of Aztec's CFO in 2008, he has driven the use of technology to provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting. Over Rick's 24-year career, he has specialized in the services industry as well as healthcare, supplier/distribution and real estate. Rick has a B.A. in Accounting from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
Kathleen Anglin, Vice President, Human Resources
Kathleen is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) with a strong background in employee and labor relations. A graduate of Rice University, she understands the value of great training programs and champions employee development. Formerly a small town Texas mayor, Kathleen encourages employees and management to understand client needs and work together for optimal results.
